We picked up several orders of Crumbl Cookies over the past few months to review. Between the original size and the mini versions, we got to try many different flavors—and even earned a free cookie this month!
May 2025
This was our first time trying Crumbl cookies, so we decided to order a 6-pack for pickup to sample a variety of flavors. Having heard a lot of buzz around their creative cookie lineup and generous portion sizes, we were curious to see if they lived up to the hype. It felt like a fun way to treat ourselves and explore what all the excitement was about.

Milk Chocolate Chip Cookie
This cookie played it safe and tasted like what you’d imagine. Nothing stood out about it and it’s somewhat lackluster for being such a staple cookie. They were out of the original size so they gave us three mini ones instead, but I actually ended up preferring the smaller size. I prefer the Wegmans Ultimate Chocolate Chip Cookie any day over this one.
Blueberry Cheesecake Cookie
Easily my favorite of the bunch. The base cookie reminded me of an oatmeal cookie and the icing and fruit topping really did make it taste like cheesecake. It wasn’t overwhelmingly sugary like some of the other options.
Sugar Cookie ft. Mother’s® Circus Animal®
Pleasantly surprised by this cookie as well. Despite initial low expectations, its funfetti cake-like cookie dough base was enjoyable, although the circus animal cookie added visual charm more than flavor. I’d recommend trying a mini size since the full cookie can be too much.
Cookie Dough Cookie
The Cookie Dough Cookie was an improvement over the plain chocolate chip version. It had tiny chocolate chips and cookie dough bites on top which added extra cookie dough flavor, but it tasted super sweet and likely needed some salt to balance it in out.
Tres Leches Cake
The Tres Leches cookie was moist and a bit heftier than expected, with a sweetness that was overpowering. My husband noted a peculiar corn flavor when he tried it. I don’t think I would order this one again. I prefer the tres leches cake at Wegmans.
Strawberry Cake
This one fell flat with dryness and an artificial strawberry taste, amplified by excessively sweet icing. From my experience so far, I would avoid their cake options and opt for cookies instead.
June 2025
In this month, my sister-in-law bought a box of six cookies for us to try. Although I didn’t snag any photos, these cookies made a memorable impression, easily outshining the May selections. Below are my thoughts for each cookie I tasted.

French Toast Cookie
A creative cookie with a cinnamon-y, maple flavor that truly reminded me of classic French toast. The cookie itself was soft and comforting, but the pat of butter-shaped icing on top was a bit much for my taste (although I think it does add to the French Toast vibe).
Dirt Cookie
The Dirt cookie was a fun, nostalgic treat. Rich chocolate base with crumbled cookies and a swirl of creamy frosting, it brought back childhood memories of “dirt cups.” There’s something about the Crumbl chocolate cookies that I am not a huge fan of…almost tastes burnt.
Peanut Butter Cup Brownie ft. REESE’S®
Hands down, my favorite from this group. Packed with deep chocolate and bold peanut butter flavor, this cookie was dense and decadent without feeling too heavy. The brownie-meets-cookie texture was perfectly balanced, and I kept coming back to this one to get extra bites.
Raspberry Lemonade Cookie
This cookie offered a refreshing twist with its bright citrus base intensified by a raspberry topping. The lemon and raspberry flavors helped balance out the cookie’s sweetness. This one
Churro Cake
Unfortunately, the Churro Cake cookie was my least favorite for the June batch. While the idea of a churro in cookie form sounded appealing, the execution missed the mark (for me). The icing was over-the-top sweet, masking the subtle cinnamon notes and making the whole treat a little too sugary for my liking.
S’mores Cookie
This cookie nailed the campfire classic vibes. Filled with gooey marshmallow, bits of chocolate, and a hint of graham cracker crumb, it was tasty without being cloyingly sweet. It was comforting and a great cookie choice for someone who loves s’mores.
July 2025
This round, I opted for Crumbl’s mini cookies instead of their usual giants—which turned out to be a much better fit for me. The original large cookies are so sugary that it makes me feel ill, but these smaller versions offered great variety without the sugar overload. We ended up not being able to wait until we got home and ate these in the car which I would not recommend. Got icing and sugar everywhere.

Blue Raspberry Cookie ft. ICEE®
A standout thanks to its colorful, playful appearance. While I expected the icing to be overpowering, it was actually balanced and enjoyable, with just enough flavor without going over the top.
Blueberry Muffin Cookie
This was my hands-down favorite. The cookie offered a true blueberry flavor, and the crumble topping added a delightful texture (although the topping had rolled off our cookie when we got it). I liked it so much I chose this cookie for the free cookie I had earned from using their app.

Churro Cookie
Enjoyed this cookie, but the heavy icing took away from the cinnamon sugar notes. I honestly forgot what flavor I ordered for this one and thought it had a snickerdoodle base. I would love the option to order these plain—sometimes less is more when it comes to icing.
Chocolate Cake Batter Cookie
Unfortunately, this one missed the mark for me. The chocolate base tasted a bit burnt, and the icing didn’t stand out—it was pretty generic, and there might have been sprinkles mixed in, but they didn’t add much.
Sea Salt Toffee Skillet Cookie
Delicious toffee flavor throughout, but again, I didn’t care for the ball of butter-like icing on top. This is another flavor I’d prefer in its simplest form, without the extra super-sweet topping. I did enjoy the addition of the toffee pieces on top.
Cookies & Cream Cheesecake
This one was a little too soft throughout. Enjoyable for what it was, but not fantastic. I would be interested to try one of their cheesecakes with a fruit topping.
Overall, this Crumbl experience showcased their flair for creative, indulgent cookies, but a majority of the cookies and cakes we tried were too sweet or sometimes underbaked. Getting the mini versions made the whole tasting experience much more enjoyable. While most of these cookies were way too sweet for me, these are ones I would order again:
- Blueberry Cheesecake Cookie
- Blueberry Muffin Cookie
- Blue Raspberry Cookie ft. ICEE®
- Lemon Raspberry Cookie
- Peanut Butter Cup Brownie ft. REESE’S®
I’d suggest sharing one original cookie or opting for minis unless you’re getting them for a huge group.
