To compare Popeyes Snack Wrap to McDonald’s version, I got the Summer Bundle with a wrap, Chicken Dippers and drink. Also tried some wings.
Snack Wrap

So we could compare wraps, I tried their Honey Mustard Wrap after trying McDonald’s Snack Wrap. Popeyes’ wrap was delicious, with flavorful chicken and balanced ingredients, making it my preferred choice due to the better flavor and texture. That said, McDonald’s version is still tasty. I am still struggling to wrap my mind around the pricing of these wraps, though. Also always prefer just strips versus as wrap since I don’t see the need to add a tortilla to the mix.

Chicken Dippers
The Chicken Dippers lost some of their crispiness after picking up my order, and I found them a bit dry with mostly breading. However, the Signature Sauce was a highlight. The sauce featured a subtle Old Bay-like seasoning flavor with a mild spiciness that paired perfectly with the dippers. I accidentally ordered the Chicken Dippers alone as well, which turned out to be a good thing since we were extra hungry.

Chilled Strawberry Premium Lemonade
The Strawberry Lemonade was very sweet. I’d say it’s comparable to Burger King’s Soaring Strawberry Lemonade that I recently had. It has that classic strawberry lemonade taste, but I wouldn’t choose it again due to the high sugar content. I’d really appreciate a less sugary version.

Bone-In Wings
We also took advantage of a BOGO deal on wings and sampled the Spicy Bone-In Wings in both Signature and Sweet ‘N Spicy flavors. The wings had a light crispiness reminiscent of Korean fried chicken, which I absolutely love. Both sauces tasted great. The Signature sauce looked spicy but was milder than expected. These wings were a definite hit and I would gladly order them again any time.
Overall, Popeyes delivered some tasty options with a few minor drawbacks, but the bold flavors and unique sauces made the experience memorable. I’m really looking forward to those wings again!
